Afrisocial is a social platform created to help Africans connect, share ideas, build communities, and express their culture online. The platform was founded by Adinkwu Ugochukwu on November 2025 and launched publicly on February 2nd 2026 with the goal of creating a space that feels more connected to African people, conversations, and experiences. Afrisocial gives users a place to communicate, discover opportunities, support creators, and build meaningful communities in an environment designed around African culture and identity. As internet access continues to grow across Africa, Afrisocial aims to grow with the next generation of digital users by building a platform that represents African voices locally and globally. Built by Africans for Africans, Afrisocial is focused on creating a strong digital community where people can connect, engage and share their stories with the world.
For years, Africans have used global platforms that don’t fully represent their stories, culture, or opportunities. Local creators often struggle with visibility, recognition, and fair rewards
Afrisocial was created to change that, giving Africans a platform where their voices matter, their creativity is valued, and their stories are seen and celebrated.
Afrisocial is for creators, entrepreneurs, storytellers, and everyday people who want to connect, express themselves, and be part of a growing African digital community.
Our vision is to build Africa’s leading social platform, one that creates opportunities, empowers creators, and drives economic growth across the continent.
Beyond connection, Afrisocial aims to create jobs, support talent, and contribute to Africa’s digital future.
Meet the people building Afrisocial.
