Afrisocial Community Guidelines

1. Respect Everyone

Afrisocial is built to connect Africans and the world through positive conversations and creativity.

You must not:

  • Harass, bully, threaten, or intimidate others
  • Spread hate speech or discriminatory content
  • Attack people based on race, tribe, nationality, religion, gender, or disability
  • Encourage violence or harmful behavior

Be respectful even during disagreements.

2. No Explicit or Sexual Content

Do not post or share:

  • Pornographic content
  • Explicit nudity
  • Sexual exploitation material
  • Sexually abusive or harmful content
  • Content involving minors in any sexual context

Afrisocial may remove such content immediately and suspend accounts involved.

3. No Scams or Fraud

Users must not:

  • Impersonate others
  • Run fake giveaways
  • Share malicious links
  • Conduct fraud, phishing, or financial scams
  • Manipulate wallet, Stars, gifts, referrals, or payments
  • Abuse referral rewards or create fake accounts

Fraudulent activity may result in permanent bans and legal reporting.

4. Safe Use of Wallet, Stars & Gifts

Wallet features are meant for genuine support and engagement.

You must not:

  • Buy or sell accounts
  • Use stolen payment methods
  • Attempt chargeback abuse
  • Exchange Stars outside Afrisocial systems
  • Use gifting for money laundering or suspicious activity

Afrisocial may freeze accounts under investigation.

5. Authentic Accounts Only

You may not:

  • Pretend to be another person, creator, or organization
  • Use misleading profile information
  • Create fake verified identities
  • Operate spam or bot accounts

Parody or fan accounts must clearly state they are unofficial.

6. No Spam or Manipulation

Spam includes:

  • Repetitive comments or messages
  • Fake engagement
  • Excessive self-promotion
  • Automated activity
  • Mass-following or mass-messaging

Afrisocial may limit reach or suspend spam accounts.

7. Content Ownership

Only post content you own or have permission to use.

Do not upload:

  • Copyrighted movies, music, or media illegally
  • Stolen content
  • Content that violates intellectual property rights

Creators retain ownership of their content but grant Afrisocial permission to display it on the platform.

8. Protect Minors

Content that exploits, harms, or endangers minors is strictly prohibited.

Afrisocial has zero tolerance for:

  • Child exploitation
  • Grooming behavior
  • Sexualization of minors
  • Dangerous challenges targeting minors

Violations may be reported to authorities.

9. Reporting & Moderation

Users can report:

  • Abuse
  • Scams
  • Harmful content
  • Fake accounts
  • Policy violations

Afrisocial may:

  • Remove content
  • Restrict visibility
  • Suspend features
  • Temporarily suspend accounts
  • Permanently ban users

Serious violations may be referred to law enforcement.

10. Enforcement Actions

Depending on severity, Afrisocial may:

  • Issue warnings
  • Remove posts/comments/messages
  • Restrict wallet or gifting access
  • Suspend monetization
  • Permanently ban accounts
  • Block devices or IPs

Repeated violations may lead to permanent removal.

  • Healthy engagement
